SCHOOL CLOSURE – THURSDAY 25TH JUNE 2026

Dear Families,

In light of the continuing heatwave we are experiencing and following the most up to date DFE guidance, the decision has been made that Ashley Park School (Walton) will be closed tomorrow, Thursday 25^th June.

We have remained open today as we felt we were able to keep the children safe by altering some of our activities, keeping children out of the sun and ensuring hydration. However, the heat has continued to rise inside the building and, as you will be aware, the forecasted temperature for tomorrow remains high. Therefore, in the interests of health, safety and wellbeing we will not be open tomorrow.

We apologise for the inconvenience this will cause. We will review the forecast for Friday and will provide a further update during the day tomorrow.
